Class – Introduction to Glass Fusing

• Includes: All glass and materials to complete your project, plus the use of our shop tools, equipment and 2 kiln firings. You will design and fabricate your own 12″ diameter bowl or platter. Then we will fire it in our kiln to fuse the design, then fire it a second time to shape it.

Glass Fusing is an exciting and liberating process enabling artists to create a glass art piece by melting (fusing) compatible glass pieces together in a kiln. The instructor will demonstrate the basics of design and present dozens of inspirational concepts to guide your design journey. We have hundreds of pre-shaped glass elements, and you will learn how to cut and shape your own custom components.

When your design is complete, we will fire it in our kiln and your masterpiece will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.
