Introduction to Stained Glass
2 Sessions – 3 hours each
- Duration: 6 hours total
- 2 sessions, 3 hours each
- Class fee : $195 per person
- Saturday 10:00 am to 1 pm
- Includes: All glass and materials to complete your stained glass panel plus the use of our shop tools
You will fabricate your very own 8” x 10” stained glass panel during this class. We have a variety of designs to choose from, including a flower panel, a sailboat, a geometric design, a sunset, and a conch shell. All with a maximum of 15 pieces.
In the first 3 hour session, you will learn how to score and break glass using the time-honored technique, then you will cut and shape the glass pieces using the design pattern. Then you’ll use a glass grinder to refine the glass pieces to precisely fit the design.
In the second 3 hour session, you’ll assemble your stained glass panel using the copper foil and solder technique. Then you will clean it up, patina the solder, frame it and it will be ready to hang in a window at home.
Introduction to Stained Glass Classes are 2 consecutive Saturday’s from 10 am to 1 pm.

These Workshop Sessions for stained glass crafters are designed for people who already have some experience and are looking to use a fully equipped glass studio that comes with a qualified instructor to offer advice and assistance. These Workshop Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 4 and you are welcome to work on a stained glass project of your choice.
These are Workshop Sessions only. You can purchase glass and supplies from us, or feel free to bring your own glass and supplies (no matter where you purchased them). You will have full use our workshop tools, equipment and our qualified instructor will be there to answer your questions.
Each Workshop Session will be 3 hours and they are sold in blocks of 2 or 4 sessions.
Studio Workshop Sessions are held Saturday Afternoons from 2 to 5 pm.

Introduction to Glass Fusing
Learn the Art of Glass Fusing by Creating an 11" Diameter Bowl or Tray
1 Session – 2 hours
- Duration: 3 hours -1 session
- Class fee: $125 per person
- Includes: All glass and materials to complete your bowl or platter project, plus the use of our shop tools, equipment
- Also includes two kiln firings. One firing to fuse your design and a 2nd firing to shape your project into a platter or bowl.
Glass Fusing is an exciting and liberating process enabling artists to create a glass art piece by melting (fusing) compatible glass pieces together in a kiln.
You will select a pre-cut 12″ circle or 9″ square base glass from a selection of colors, then you will learn how to cut and shape your own glass design components to create your project.
When your design is complete, we will fire it in our kiln to fuse the glass components, then do a second firing to shape it in the mold of your choice, with a cast glass foot on the bottom.
Your masterpiece will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.
Introduction to Glass Fusing classes are scheduled for Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

Introduction to Glass Fusing
Fused Glass Bowl or Tray
Create a 6" Square or Flex Shape Project using pre-cut glass shapes & components
1 Session – 90 Minutes
- Workshop Duration: 90 minutes – 1 session only
- Class fee: $85.00 per person.
- Perfect for anyone 12 years and up
- No glass or design experience is necessary, and you will not be required to cut glass.
- Workshop participants will create their own unique 6″ square or flex-form design
- Includes: All materials, use of tools, and one kiln firing.
Workshop participants will create their own unique 6″ round, square or flex-form design using a selection of pre-cut glass shapes and components.
The instructor will demonstrate various design techniques using pre-cut glass shapes, glass frit (crushed glass), spaghetti stringers, vitracane stringers, bubble-dots, and other design components. Then each participant will create their own art piece.
Your objet d’art will be fused and shaped in our kilns and will be ready for pick-up the following week at our Art Glass Love Studio in Oakland Park.
Each participant will create one square, round, or flex-form fused glass design – up to 6″ x 6″. Then choose a shape using our free-form mold system created and invented by artist Petra Kaiser
If there is sufficient time, you can create an additional art piece for $25 (payable at the workshop).
Note: Please do not wear open-toed shoes or sandals.

- Includes: All materials and use of tools, and one kiln firing.
- Each participant will have the choice to make three 4″ square tiles or one 8″ square fused glass art piece.
Family Fun, Date Night, Girls’ Night Out, Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, or any Celebration. Invite your friends, family or social circle for a truly fun and unique experience – great for ages 12 & older.
Bring your favorite beverage and some light snacks to create a real party atmosphere.
No previous experience necessary and you will not be required to cut glass. The instructor will demonstrate a variety of embellishment techniques using pre-cut glass components. Then each participant will have the choice to make three 4″ square tiles or one 8″ square or a similar-sized rectangle from a selection of colored glass bases, and then use an assortment of glass components to create a truly unique art glass piece.
Then we will fire them in our kilns, and your fused creations will be ready to pick up within 2 weeks
Fusing parties are scheduled for Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 pm or Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Cross the railroad tracks and take the second left at NE 12th Terrace. We are the blue building on the left. Enter through the central gate into the courtyard and we are Studio #18 – The sign on the door is Glass Reflections.
