Installing a GelBit
Slide the bit down the shaft until approximately 1/8″ of the diamond surface is exposed above the work surface.

QUALITY – Are the Gel Bits as durable as the traditional bits?
Yes. The Gel Bits offer the same quality as traditional bits as it is equipped with a diamond grit. Gel Bits provide great quality at a fraction of the cost.
INSTALLATION – Is the Gel Bit equipped with an Allen wrench?
Yes, the Gel Bit comes with an Allen wrench. An artist can loosen the screw by aligning the wrench with the screw and turning it counter clockwise. To tighten it, turn the wrench clockwise, BUT it only needs to be snug-tightened, over tightening could cause the treads to strip.
SIZES – What sizes of Gel Bits are available?
The Gel Bit comes in 1” and 3/4″ diameter in Standard “medium” Grit
UNIVERSAL FIT – Can I use the Gel Bit with my grinder?
Gel Bits are compatible with most glass grinders.
PERFORMANCE – Will a Gel Bit give me the same result as my trusty brass bit?
The Gel Bit performs exactly the same as a more traditional brass bit, in fact we think Gel Bits are a little better, but we do have a somewhat biased opinion
