Class – Introduction to Glass Fusing

• Includes: All glass and materials to complete your Sushi Platter plus the use of our shop tools, equipment and 2 kiln firings. You will design and fabricate your own 8” square or 7″ x 11″ rectangle design then we will fire and shape in our kiln to create your sushi platter.

Glass Fusing is an exciting and liberating process enabling artists to create a glass art piece by melting (fusing) compatible glass pieces together in a kiln. The instructor will demonstrate the basics of design and present dozens of inspirational concepts to guide your design journey. We have hundreds of pre-shaped glass elements, and you will learn how to cut and shape your own custom components.

When your design is complete, we will fire it in our kiln to fuse the glass components, then do a second firing to shape it in our Sushi Platter mold.

Your masterpiece will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.
