Class – Introduction To Stained Glass

• Duration: 6 hours total
• – 2 sessions, 3 hours each
• Class fee Copperfoil: $195
• 10:00a to 1:00p Saturday’s or 6:00p to 9:00p Wednesday’s
• Includes: All glass and materials to complete your stained glass panel plus the use of our shop tools

You will fabricate your very own 12” x 12” or 8” x 12” stained glass panel during this class. We have a variety of designs to choose from or bring your own design concept and the instructor will help you modify it to a maximum 12 pieces.

In the first 3 hour session, you will learn how to score and break glass using the time-honored technique, then you will cut and shape the glass pieces using the design pattern. Then you’ll use a glass grinder to refine the glass pieces to precisely fit the design.

In the second 3 hour session, you’ll assemble your stained glass panel using the copper foil and solder technique or the traditional lead assembly technique, depending on the class style that you selected. The final step will be to mount hanger clips and clean up, ready to hang in your home window
