Mobile Workshop – Painting with Glass – Create a Fused Glass Sushi Style Plate using the Glass Tattoo® Stencil System

Materials Included: Everything is included in the workshop fee to create one 6” Sushi Plate. You will have access to a selection of Glass Tattoo® Stencil designs (more than 20 to choose from) plus our helpful Stencil Stabilizer Device and all other tools.

Additional Materials: If time permits, participants will be invited to create a second Sushi Plate for an additional $25.00.

Workshop Details: Create a 6″ square, Sushi Style serving plate using fusible glass and the Glass Tattoo Stencil system. We provide the 6” square glass base and you bring the ingenuity! The instructor will demonstrate the Glass Tattoo Stencil technique using our Stencil Stabilizer Device and the pre-mixed Gue Colors. Everyone will select a stencil design from more than 20 design choices, then we’ll spend a few minutes practicing the technique. When you feel confident, you’re ready to create your own multi-colored stencil design on your glass base.

After you have revealed your stencil design, the final step is to add a border frame and some background embellishments using the GT Gue Colors, GT Wafer designs, glass stringers, crushed glass frit, plus many other design components that will be available to help you create a truly unique plate.

Finished Plate Delivery: You must allow 7-10 days for us to fuse and shape your plate. If you attended our Studio workshop your art plate will be ready to pick up (or we will be happy to mail it for an additional fee). If you attended a one of our remote workshops, we’ll deliver the finished plates back to the location of the workshop.
