Join Petra Kaiser for an intimate and hands-on two-day workshop (10am to 4pm) is limited to just four students. This class is designed for glass fusing artists who want to push their creative boundaries and master the incredible versatility of Kaiser Lee Board. You will receive personalized instruction and guidance from this renowned teacher, who will help you uncover your unique artistic visions and bring them to life.
This workshop goes way beyond basic fusing, empowering you to create an expansive variety of custom three-dimensional forms used for glass casting, slumping and draping. Her techniques enable fuser to create complex, multi layered pieces and glass sculptures using Kaiser Lee board. This board is a high temperature alumina-silica fiber board that has been pre-fired and ready to use right out of the box.
Class fee is $375, includes two 8” x 9” Kaiser Lee boards, glass, supplies & 2 kiln firings

About the Instructor: Petra Kaiser, a native of Germany, is a pioneer in the art of kiln formed glass. She is renowned not only for being a talented artist but also as an influential author and educator. Her distinctive artistic style captures the vibrant light and aquatic domain of her home in Florida. Her passion for exploring the three-dimensional possibilities of glass, ultimately led to the development of Kaiser Lee board.
